Preparing Properties for Sale

  • Obtain a complete list of all of your company's properties with the following accompanying information:
    • Most recent reserve report for each property
    • Recent discoveries related to each property
    • Successful workovers
    • Additional development wells
    • Changes in well status
    • Well pluggings or abandonments
    • Any other changes or circumstances that may affect the property value
  • Schedule a meeting with a Midwest Energy Auction Manager to discuss every aspect of selling your property.
  • Midwest Energy Auction will follow up with another meeting once it has reviewed the information and will formulate a recommendation.
Company Contact Information - All sellers must submit this form with the agreement for sale of oil or gas properties.

Location for Sales

All property sales will be conducted from the Midwest Energy Auction, LLC Sales and Data Room in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Properties may be sold as an Absolute Property or a Minimum Bid Property.

  • An Absolute Property is sold to the highest bidder as identified by the auctioneer, irrespective of the price offered.
  • A Minimum Bid Property is sold to the highest bidder that also exceeds a minimum acceptable bid as agreed upon in advance and in writing by Seller and Midwest Energy Auction.

Completion of Conveyance Documents

Once a property is sold, the Seller is responsible for completing all conveyance documents, including for example, deeds and assignments. Midwest Energy Auction, LLC may provide assistance regarding specific county or regulatory agency requirements that are applicable to the property.
